Keith writes Dixie relaunched and took in a gallon of water in 30 mins afloat after being out of it for 30 years. She appears to have been rebuilt by Paul gray in the 90s, he went bust & went abroad, Dixie was in the yard & the new yard owner simply put her on the roof of the workshop as camouflage for an extension built without planning permission. She has been there at least 10 years. there are a few problems & I'm hoping the "new" deck is saveable, if not it will have to be replaced. The mast is missing as are the sails, looking forward to getting her going. |
