Egret
1964 mahogany on oak clinker dayboat. Professionally refurbished in 2016 which included New deck, transom. centreboard case, thwarts, side benches, hull overhaul with some timber replaced. New tiller with extension and new rudder stock. New running gear, sheets, pulleys etc. Alloy mast and boom.Boom up cover. Decent set of sails and the boat was raced at Bosham during the 2017 season. I purchased "Egret" in early April but soon after I spotted a Gunter rigged dayboat for sale which is more practical to tow behind my tall motorhome having the short spars, so I purchased it. The road trailer, which is included, has now been refurbished having had new wheels, tyres, hubs and bearings. The jockey wheel has been replaced with a new one, various parts have been repaired and the trailer given a repaint and a hitchlock has been included. Also, since purchase, the hull has been varnished, a punctured buoyancy bag has been replaced a pair of long oars and a pair of bronze rowlocks have been added as well as an anchor, chain and warp and a pair of fenders. The boat is in superb condition and ready to go.I have no use for 2 dayboats so "Egret" needs to be sold must be seen to be appreciated. Further information and photos are available by email.
