News of Tom Newberry of Salcombe YC

Tom will be known to those who have been to recent DB Weeks at Salcombe.

Sue Leat has received the following information from Tom's son & daughter: -

Tom suffered a very severe stroke last February. Recovery has been poor and has left him largely paralysed with limited ability to communicate. He is in a nursing home:

Tom spends a lot of the time sleeping but is aware of visitors and enjoys receiving cards or letters.
