A while ago she took some damage to the planks and ribs from the trailer and I made some effort at repairs, slowly and not very successfully with a further setback when I broke my ankle. As you know, I advertised her but have had no takers. I'm not sure how it came about but it occurred to me a museum might be interested. I expect you know there is a dayboat in the Swansea museum.

I contacted the West Wales Maritime Heritage in Pembroke Dock and to my delight they said they would take it as a donation. They set about restoring it but there was a setback a couple of weeks ago when they announced they couldn't make it seaworthy but would add it to their display collection. It was built in Caerleon so is a Welsh craft. In return, I go down once a week and help out as a volunteer. I have one or two pictures which I can send you.
