Sold to Yves Jambon of Dinard for £1250
Val wrote on 21/12/2008: Carol (Jones, now Williams) and I bought the boat from John Lewis in 1976, then I bought out Carol when she developed a bad back in the 80s and couldn't sail dinghies any longer. By the time John and I were married in 1989 I was thinking of selling Bizz'm and buying 'plastic' as I didn't have time for the maintenance. John wouldn't let me and he took over the work himself! I've had 32 happy years of sailing Bizz'm but now that I'm retired we are away sailing on the cruiser all summer and there's little time left for Dayboat sailing. It was sad to say goodbye to her today but I think she's going to a good home
